Sitecore Expert!!!

Sitecore has really evolved as one of the powerful tool in the market for web development.

It gives an user enough flexibility to shape up their requirement in a way they are looking for, in fact it helps you to evolve even better. Its suppleness (exposed API) for extending it in your code and design the way you want the flow or a particular feature to behave is brilliant.

Sitecore have always been proactive for making itself more robust by integrating it with market demanding products (Adobe, NoSQL, Lucene Search Engine, Big Data, etc.)

I really love their newer version for the User Interface, responsive look in hand held devices and upgrade to knowledge base.

Other major factor is Sitecore community is growing…as a resultant you get more development support on the web.

Why I am writing this blog??

Today specifically service industry has a good enough demand for Sitecore Experts, and they struggle to find (right?) candidate… obviously because Sitecore is not very traditional product, its adoption is slowly growing in the market.

And the approach recruitment firms or an interviewer is taking needs to be challenged…Why do you require Sitecore Expert? Why not look for good .NET programmer or designer. Sitecore is not a something heavy hearted language, nor it says you need to practice it for so many years then only you are eligible to touch it.

And pathetic part is interviewer’s sit with a set of questions and answers (downloaded from web) and based on that they decide if the candidate is Sitecore Expert or not J

If this is going to continue then we are restricting the community to grow…
